European cruises depart from Rome or Barcelona, and travel throughout the Mediterranean over the course of a week (shorter, three-night cruises visit Spain, France and Italy). Caribbean cruises depart from Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and take place over as few as two nights, but up to over a week, with stops all throughout the region.
